Dingle Farm Garden

Saturday 6th August 2016

A car outing on Saturday 6th August.  This is a National Gardens Scheme garden in Dingle Lane, Appleton, south of Warrington (WA4 3HR) and 20 miles from Chester.  Diretions:  M56 to Jn 10, A49 towards Warrington.  Right at traffic lights on to Stretton Road, in 1 mile turn Left at The Thorn PH, after 1 mile Left into Dingle Lane; plenty of parking.

This is intended to be an informal visit, arriving, we suggest, between 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm, for a stroll round the garden which contains a pond, ornamental grasses, wild flower meadows, orchards, vegetable patch, a newly planted woodland area and manicured lawms.  To be followed by a cream tea, in the highly rated tearoom, comprising either a savoury cheese or fruit scone, butter, clotted cream and jam, plus tea or coffee.

Cost is £10 per person for which participants will receive a voucher for admission to the garden and another for cream tea.
