The National Trust Chester Centre was founded in 1971 to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust. Today we have a membership of 350, all being members of the National Trust, living in the Chester area.
We are one of nearly 200 local associations and centres.
Our objectives are:
to promote the work of the National Trust
to raise funds in it’s support
to recruit new members
to arrange a program of events and activities
to increase members enjoyment of the Trust
The National Trust Chester Centre is an independent organisation and is governed by a constitution common to all the charity’s centres and associations. A committee of officers manages the Centre and members are elected at our annual general meeting held in April each year.
