Coming events

7.30pm at the Burley Hall,  Waverton,  except for the February Luncheon.

A remarkable filmshow and commentary on Liverpool from 1800’s to date was superb. If you missed it...it is your own fault. We have such wonderful shows!

9th Feb 2012   12.30pm Luncheon. Songs and nostalgia by ‘LOLA LAMOUR’

Booking for this luncheon is essential.

16th February a coach outing to the John Rylands Library, The Lowry and Ordsall Hall. Coach leaves Chester Station at 08.30 and ST Columba’s at 08.40.

8th March Harry Watson tells about the North West Air Ambulance 7.30 pm

21st March. Coach to New Museum of Liverpool, Festival Gardens and Speke Hall

Chester Station 08.50 and St Columba’s 0900.

The AGM takes place on Thursday 12th April  at the Burley Hall in Old Waverton

Nominations for the Committee to Margaret Ellis by 5th April.

The Panopticans trip in September is now changed. As soon asa we know we will tell you here. Keep watching!

Mike Smith, our Recruitment Officer, recently went to the St Columba’s Plas Newton, Church Hall to an U3A meeting . He was well received and there was substantial interest in our Centre and our activities. We would like to welcome U3A members to our Centre and hope that we will..
